Meet Jennifer

I'm Jennifer Glaeser, M.Ed.—a special education teacher, autism mom, and founder of Universal Readiness.

For nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals with autism and other intellectual, developmental, and neurodivergent differences across homes, classrooms, and communities.

My journey has taken me through many roles and settings. I've supported adults with disabilities in residential programs, provided early intervention services through ABA, served as a nanny for a child with Angelman syndrome, taught transition-age students and young adults with extensive support needs, and led autism classrooms in both specialized and public school settings. Today, I continue that work as an elementary autism teacher supporting students with extensive support needs while also raising my own son, who is preparing to begin TK with autism.

These experiences—as a professional, a mother, and a lifelong learner—have inspired my continued doctoral research, with a focus on nervous system regulation, communication, behavior, and creating environments that support learning, independence, and belonging.

Through both research and lived experience, I've come to believe that stress impedes learning, connection supports growth, and people thrive when environments are designed with readiness in mind.

Universal Readiness was born from a simple but powerful question:

What if the world became more ready for people—instead of expecting people to be ready for the world?

My mission is to help individuals with autism and other intellectual, developmental, and neurodivergent differences—and the families, educators, and communities who support them—create environments where people feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Together, we can build bridges of understanding, connection, and empowerment.
